JIM TEMPLES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

 Coach Jim Temples (Coach T.) was passionately committed to running excellence for 35 years in the San Dieguito High School District. He has transformed countless students over the years into lifetime running enthusiasts with his special brand of form mechanics delivered with a sense of encouragement and compassionate respect. 

Coach T., as he was called, by students and fans, was a track & field and cross-country coach beginning in 1974 at Torrey Pines high school when it opened. The girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams excelled in a number of CIF championships over the years. In addition, the boys’ team claimed three straight league championships during his tenure.
