JOYCE DALESSANDRO

1946-2021

Joyce was a graduate of Cornell University and the prestigious Teachers College of Columbia University. After teaching in classrooms and devoting years raising her two daughters, she spent 24 years as a trustee of the San Dieguito Union High School District. She was a board member of our Torrey Pines Scholarship Fund for over 25 years. Joyce was an integral member of our team. She and John often shared their home many days per year during our scholarship process. Her intellect, leadership, passion for students and humor were inspiring to all. We hope to continue her education legacy with this enduring memorial scholarship.
